Equipment Used : Ranger3900 40 channel aerial is a homemade fan dipole strung up in a tree with about 100 meters of radials,inspiration from DX commander.I’m 45 & used be on Cb radio back in early 90’s I had a the highly regarded president Lincoln paired with an astatic mic,my antenna back then was the sigma 4 a 3/4 wave beast

Hi all! I used to operate on the Cb 25 years ago & have got the bug again 🫣,my name is Matt & have made my own 1/4 vertical. I made my first contact today into 14 division France! I’m using a ranger superstar 360

It had lovely crisp audio with that combo! The superstar I have now works great & will get a power mic soon! Going to experiment with a mag loop for 11m as a compact portable set up! Fred in the shed on the YouTube inspired me to get a call sign!
