Introduction and callsign request please (Issued)

Good morning CT Team!
        I have so many fond memories of CB Radio from the 80's and early 90's and have always been interested in DX.
My CB days lead me into becoming a Radio Amateur so I could continue that interest.
Myself and some good friends used to occupy channel 34 (27/81) in the heart of Fenland most evenings back in the early 90's chatting about this and that and getting some DX in when there was an opening.

Back then my radio of choice was a NATO 40FM into a 5/8 wave vertical and eventually a Thunderpole III antenna.
Though my favourite radio was the NATO I did have and still have a selection of rigs to choose from. I have never been able to bring myself to part with them because of all the special memories attached.

I now live in Peterborough with my partner and daughter so things have changed a bit since then but I'm now wanting to rekindle that old interest of mine.

I'm not quite at the point where i'm "on air" but as part of getting things organized for those summer months i'd like to request and official CT callsign please.

This community seems so friendly which makes getting back into CB even more exciting.
Thinking back to my CB days in the 80's I remember the early morning Nets.
I'm kind of hoping they still exist in this area so am doing some research and can see already there are some people on here who are relatively local to me so maybe that's a good start.
