hi, new member here requesting a callsign, name is Scott located in Dundee, waiting on my ssb rig arriving in next few days (6700), i had cb back in the early 90s, had a uk40 in my landrover for years but really only for use when off road when u can see the cars you are talking to, also a foundation licence holder but dont do much with it nowadays, thanks in advance

(Shame to hear that you haven't done much with your Foundation Scott after making the efforts to gain it. Where there's a will there's a way and Ham radio can be enjoyed in many forms from a VHF/UHF handy to second hand equipment, bits of wire elaborately slung around your property as antennas for HF as well as a host of other opportunities such as digital modes etc. Even if you don't use it now it's always good to re-validate your licence so that it doesn't expire....you never know, an opportunity may present itself to enjoy the fun that can be had with those extra frequencies. )
