CRT 6900N DAT

Hi Folks, ive not long upgraded to a CRT6900N, and am looking for a dat file so i can get normal UK 40 27/81, and have 555, but also want to DX to the states on 385.

I can do it manually, but id imagine someone will have a file that will cover the lot?
No need for it to go up to the 29mhz , so id rather get as much coverage in the 27 as possible. 

Anyone?

Thanks Alan.  Any way of doing it without facebook, as i dont have a FB account.

what version is your crt ?

ok,,where does your programming cable plug into ?,,do you have to take the case off to access it or does it plug into the rear of the radio

It's a case of job. Plugs into the board inside.
Unsure of the revision

the cable for the SS 6900N take of the speaker lid, and near the front  is a connector where you connect the cable for the 6900 to pc computer, once connected you need to load up the software on pc for programming the rig, if you have a date file, top left corner of the software on pc you will see file and edit, open the file dat you want to install, and write to the cb radio while the cb radio is turned on and connect to a power supply 3-5amp is fine to program it, , once done turn of cb radio, disconnect from pc computer, and check the channels are in the right place on the cb radio by turning it back on, dont key up with out a coax cable to an aerial or dummy load or swr meter and aerial, if done wright rig should be programmed now, if you need a dat file just ask i have one,

Don't know if this is okay to do, but here's a copy of the 6900N data file that I made up.  Band 6 is the UK40 FM.

I've also got the same one for the newer 6900V7 radio too.
