Hi, i'm selwyn, yeah that is my real name, i want to get back into the hopefully more mature CB world than the one i left in 1992 and i thought the right way to go about it would be to join a proper group which i have just done so, i am currently running my old Rotel RVC240 and a bandit 2 mag mount whip, all pretty standard stuff, i started out in 1984 with a GEC ( cough ) AM set which was followed by the more legit Rotel up to 1992, by 92 i had had enough of the junk childish antics of channels locked up with shite music, now retired and with the rebirth of CB i'll give it another go. thats about it i think. i would like to request a CT call sign please as proof i am legit and not an idiot cheers

Hello Selwyn, welcome to the forum and back to the hobby.
I am delighted to allocate you 26-CT-3309 may you have good luck with it.
C.B. slang is infrequently used anymore, Operators are much more likely to use 'Q' codes and numbers derived from the morse code system '73' means best regards!
73's Gary.

Hi Gary, thanks for the welcome and the allocation and I’m sure it will serve me well. I’m rather glad the slang has had its day, I’ll brush up on modern speak 73s Selwyn
