Hi to all i have a KPO DX 5000 with the standard Mic { which is crap } just got myself a K-PO NM-532 now the 532 has come wired to a 6 pin socket and the DX 5000 is 4 pin does anybody know the wiring for this please

www.radiomicwiring.co.uk is a great site for finding out (funnily enough) microphone wiring connections.
For your radio the wiring is as follows:
DX5000 4-pin wiring
The power mic uses a "standard" 6 pin connection as follows:
Standard 6-pin CB mic
Unfortunately I can only provide you this information as is given, I usually wire mics up from schematics or self tracing. Hope it helps.

Hi Vic thanks for that but its the colours i am after as in what goes to each pin blue red black etc etc

No worries
Can't help you any further as past experience has shown me that the same mic from the same manufacturer can and have used totally different colour wires (!?!) That's why I usually trace the wiring myself.
Hope someone else can help and you get it sorted.

Pin 1 will be screen. Pin 2 will be audio red. Pin 3 will be ptt white. Pin 4 nothing connected.
