Returning new member. (Sorted)

Heya all.

So I joined a couple years (I think) ago. Was given a call sign... But sadly fell out of love with my cb.. I get no signal by me, and have to drive a distance before I can rx/tx...
But now have uhf/vhf and am getting back into scanning and listening...

I'm male mid 30s, love travelling, camping, clay shooting, and the odd bit of metal detecting, and to wash it all down I like to do the odd bit of motorcycling and photography.

I'd be delighted if I could find my old call sign in your records??

We have changed forum hosts but all previously issued call signs are still valid.

You can find yours in the Call sign directory here. https://charlietangodxgroup.forumotion.com/f11-call-sign-directory

You will be listed in the 26 England division lists.

If you were a member of the previous forum I'm afraid your old user details will not work. We all had to re register on the new one.

I think I can edit it for you from the admin menu if you really want to change back. I've updated you profile with your call sign.

You're in my neck of the woods mate. If you fancy trying a shout out on the old CB then let us know, I might even be prodded to retrying to program my Baofeng for PMR

Oh Victor, mate, nice!!

We can give it a go - Im south Bedfordshire, When I went over to Dunstable Downs, I managed to reach a chap over Beds way. But from my house I get nothing.

On my Baofeng though - im getting Luton traffic tower and the planes in my lounge, but better in the garden.

I have ordered the UV-5Riii - and a Abree 42.5inch Tri-band aerial to go with it., I also ordered the dual band aerial for my uv-9r era.

So hoping I will be able to pick up more.

To be honest I've been itching to give PMR446 a go so it's the perfect excuse finding someone closer with a VHF/UHF interest

There doesn't seem to be a tab I select to open the message???

I tried clicking my profile, but again I cant find a tab or link to get and open the message???

Top of the screen under the Charlie Tango header you have your "Forum Calendar Gallery..." etc.
Top right of that is your "Log Out", "Messages" is next to that one, probably replaced with a bell icon or something.
Click on that and you should see your inbox etc.

You're right though, no matter phone, tablet or pc it looks like a 1/4 grain of rice!
