| Hi all, I'm Andy with the user name Mzee and have Just joined this group. I live in Uckfield East Sussex and have been using CB since the early 70's using various CB radios and multi-mode makes. The antenna I am using for CB is a Silver Rod which has been up for about 15 years on a 40' pole and has withstood various gales in all this time, a bit bent and battered but still works with swr about 1.1. I have been a licenced M6 amateur operator for the last three years and my main home radio is a Yeasu 897D running through a Cushcraft R5 antenna, and a Cushcraft 2 METER/70 CM YAGI. For mobile I use a Cobra 148 and a Yeasu FT7900. Thats all info about me, so all I need now is a call sign from the lovely mods and to get to know some of you.  | |
