You're right Alan, I do have the 'perfect' excuse.
I've got beautiful receive now, (can hear woodworm chewing in China!), but still no transmit. Could've paid expensive UK prices for spares or wait on delivery from China and of course I chose the latter being the tight fisted old got I am.
Spent three days chasing my tail with 40 year old light corrosion inter-connects!! (I'm out of Servisol now!)
With some 450 semiconductors in that rig my fault tracing skills have been tested to exhaustion....
....but I'll get there mate.

I know you can fix it. Shame some things take forever to come from china. Linda is into this jewel art picture thing and bought 3 times from a seller in china and 5 working days delivery every time typical if is was something important i wanted it would be 3 weeks delivery.
