I just worked GB100BBC from Broadcasting  House.

Hi Neal & Vic,

I was a bit lucky with this one he had a massive pile up and my wire with 50 Watts is not usually enough to break in over the more powerful stations. 

He eventually had to QSY because of European interference and I caught his first C.Q. on the new frequency before the crowd followed. 

Anyway a nice one to put in the log. The call sign has been granted for use for the entirety of 2022 so keep an ear out for it.

I shall definitely keep an ear out for that one and thanks for the heads up. I might not manage on my 10W but I'm sure many others will. (You never know though!)

Very pleased to get the special call in my log today. It doesn't have quite the same feel as when you managed it though Gary as they were not at Broadcasting House, but at another location at Nuneaton.

Well done getting the special event call there Neal.  

Still good to have it in the log no matter where it originated from but I know what you mean, Broadcasting House would've been the cherry atop the icing.

Well done Neal, it's a nice one to get in the log. Nuneaton is only up the road from me I wish I'd heard it I'd have had another crack.

You'll probably still have the opportunity to work them at broadcasting house though, it's granted for all of 2022.
