Hi Sam,
We don't send out 'spam' emails ourselves (heaven forbid!) but it could be possible that you are receiving nefarious mails via the host provider service. (Have had that happen on occasion.)
Best thing is just to simply delete them but don't reply as that is usually how they 'harvest' further information from you.
You can go into your forum profile by clicking the 'Profile' button at the top of the site when you are logged on and click on the 'Preferences' section where you can determine how the PM or personal message service is handled to you.
