Mobile antenna question

Can I use a DV27 with a CRT SS9900 on FM AM USB & LSB, sorry if it’s a dumb question but after nearly 30 years away from the hobby I’m doing my homework and having a go.

Yes you can. The antenna doesn't know or care what mode it's being used on, the only thing that matters are the frequencies/channels being used. Don't forget it'll most likely need tuning - if the SWR is higher on Ch1 than Ch40 it'll need lengthening and if it's higher on Ch40 than Ch1 it'll need shortening. Only adjust it 1/4" at a time then retest.

Thanks Paul, even thought I’ve been on years ago I class myself as a new starter, so much has changed and there’s so much more to learn, but I’ll get there, just getting all my stuff together and take it from there.
