Just ended my first dx contact with Jim in Belfast. This is fun! Think i didn't quite follow the dx rules, but i'll learn. Possibly CT will get a new member soon, my son also talked to Jim from his Lincoln I, and he doesn't have a callsign yet.

As for "DX rules" I know personally that I still forget stuff because of the sheer excitement of getting a DX QSO! You'll pick up the lingo as you go along but hopefully never lose that excitement.
Yes, get your son a Charlie Tango callsign. The more the merrier

Nice one matey. The rules,,,, well just one really " Manners" Yes some very good stations in Ireland, good bunch of lads and always ready for a chat.... Your A99,, fit the 5/8 wave firestick top, it does help a lot and seems to reduce the noise floor a little. Well "Party on Dudes" and have fun.
