Subject: New Member Call Sign Request (Issued) Fri Sep 11, 2020 2:02 am
Hello everyone my name is Ed (short for Edward) and am located on the North Yorkshire coast in the UK. My interest in all things radio started way back in the early 1970's. I like scanning with my Uniden UBC 785 XLT and swling using a Tecsun PL-880. Having recently retired and having more spare time to 'play' with the hobby I've joined the forum and hope to get my first 11m rig soon (looking at Thunderpole T2000). Looking forward to getting my own CT group call sign if that would be possible please. 73, Ed.

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
That's a good long standing with radio interests and I hope your retirement gives you the options to explore them more.
Just to help a little, a requirement for callsign allocation is the nearest town or city for your QTH in your profile. It will make issuing a callsign much quicker for you and easier for our Mr Gary Wilson who issues them.
