Just having a read through it, Martin. It has been a few years, since I last worked 43 div. The best contact I had last time was Johnno (43CT004) over in Wagga Wagga. I was amazed to have worked the East Side on a mobile whip. The trusty Sirio 4000 doing the business.

I know what you mean, Martin. The 43div stations were running five and six element beams. They definitely have alot more space over there. Good luck, Martin, you never know.

Good stuff, Victor. I might take my portable two element beam up to my dx location this weekend and see if I can pull them in. Weather dependent of course.

Sounds like a good plan John.
Hope the weather holds calm for you at the weekend.
Now that all the Xmas lights are going up around me CB frequencies are all but wiped out and QRM jumped up on the Ham bands too. Just been checking digi-mode reports and seems like Australia is hitting through there including 10m so might give those modes a go.
Not quite as exciting as a good old SSB CB contact though
