Probably so that you don't accidentaly kill a linear by accidentally knocking the control and TX'ing?

I'm pretty sure Alan Pilot was simply pointing out the fact that this was an old posting. Easily done, especially as a newer member on the forum.
Well done on finding an unanswered posting though despite the date! I usually click on the 'View unanswered posts' link every now and then as the forum can be very busy so topics get bumped down the "Latest Topics" box and provide input if I can - Obviously I missed this one or else had nothing to add.
Enjoy the forum and remember if you ever want a call sign you only have to enter a few details such as your name and location with a request for one.
