Quite recap, some of the more senior members might remember me (for different reasons!) Anyway, a few weeks ago, I posted that I was looking for an old DX buddy of mine from back in the day, Porky69. It was always going to a long shot but you just never know. I put some feelers out elsewhere to maximise the chances. Sadly, nothing came back
Then, on Tuesday, out the blue, I got a Christmas card from the reprobate himself! Won't bore you with the details but it was one of the few things this year that's gone right.
I don't do 'radio' anymore but this group holds a lot of fantastic memories for me, up and down the country and on all sorts of frequencies! Though CT I had the privilege to meet some seriously top people, I can't thank you enough for that. The fact that the group and the forum are still up and running when so many have disappeared says it all really.
Leave all you fantastic people in peace so have a merry Christmas and new year (assuming we are allowed) be safe and be good. 73

Last time I saw Porky69 was on Transmission 1 forum and on Thunderpoles forum about a year or so ago ,glad you found him, it's nice go find old friends , infact it's long time since I've seen your name Bob welcome back.
