I hope someone can help me I have just bought a CRT2000 I have it set up but can't hear anyone on it.

| Hi Stuart - I looked online and it appears that the P1 button also has a MUTE option. Have you tried to cycle through it? Also, try cycling through the P4 button to make sure that the squelch isn't maxed. | |

| Can you hear any noise coming from it at all ie: static or normal radio hiss, plus another thing ATM there is not much life on the radio also is there any other local cb radio users in your area you know of, I live in a built up area of North London and sometimes I don't hear a thing for days or even weeks, see if you can find another cb user in your area to test and make sure it's just not dead in your area that why your not hearing anything, plus also not being insulting to your intelligence have you used a cb radio before and know how to to set one up ie: getting the right antenna and tuning (SWR) the antenna, I apologise if you are already experienced with cb radio asking this comment. | |
