Hi all query regarding g5rv half size does it matter if the the ladder line runs down the house looking at changing from a 20m long wire not having much luck with the Lw20 unless its the propergation ant help thanks..

What do you mean by "down the house"? It ideally needs to be both vertical and away from metal, and whilst a brick wall of a house won't necessarily screw the tune, it won't help either..
The other thing worth mentioning is whilst some swear by their G5RV's, other's swear at them. They are pretty much non-resonant antennas, that need a tuner...and usually a better tuner than the 3:1 in most radios.
I have never used the half size one, but my full size one has been packed away for many years.....
