Hi everyone I hope I am posting this in the correct section, " Frank base station Liverpool." I returned to cb radio over a month ago, after being off the air for twenty years. I found a few of my old radio's and tried them out, I got hooked again, so bought all new equipment. My old dx call sign was cat 1, could I please have a CT callsign, I will look at a lot of the old comments, there is so much I have forgotten, thanks

Hi Frank,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Call signs are usually issued most days so keep an eye on this posting for when you are assigned yours.
Enjoy the site, there's a lot of members but not all of them are active on the forum. Those that do are a helpful bunch, you'll find helpful pointers, laughs and humour amongst previous postings and always enjoyable to read back on.
I hope your return to the airwaves is an enjoyable one.
All the best, Victor

Thanks Victor, there are a few people around me that have come back to cb, I find talking on a radio is a lot better than on a mobile phone, i do not know where my phone is most of the time, This radio will stop me going insane during this lockdown.

No worries Frank.
Definitely something nice about chatting on a radio. A lot of people have rediscovered, revisited and taken up radio over the last year and I think it's all helped a lot of people. Nothing like a pleasant distraction from the world.
Glad you've got some people around on CB as I spent months shouting out to empty space when I first came back. I did get to enjoy some good CB skip last summer and that pushed me to take the online exam and finally get my Ham ticket last year.
You'll have your callsign soon and I hope you enjoy using it on the airwaves.

Thanks John, I have a few questions about the new radio and power supply I have set up. I am going through old posts to see if the question has already been asked. I do not want to be a pain and waste peoples time, cheers Frank
