We where talking about EMI yesterday, Im surrounded by houses and I'm getting about s7 of noise, in old money 7lb.. I have ordered a few ferrite chokes to filter out some of the interference, im not too hopeful, considering the LED, lights,TV,Monitors and so on.. Pity  the RSGB/Ofcom don't put pressure on manufactures for cleaner or better outputs EMF.
