New Member here, Tom French from across the pond in USA. I started in the first half of the 1970's with CB and exposure to Ham, I am a licensed Ham, Call N3UFJ and am just returning to HF after too long of an absence. I don't know what happened last Monday but I stopped into our only CB shop w/i 100 miles, was looking for a good CB antenna. As I turned around I almost "fainted" as I saw a brand new Stryker SR-955 WITH the matching antenna SR-A10 both for sale... somehow, I'm not really sure just how that radio found it's way into my possession so now onto the mobile install to be followed with a base antenna set us inside the house as well. I would like a CT number and we will see what I can do with it. Many thanks in advanve,
Tom French Peace.

Hi Tom,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Great introduction and a real pleasure to read.
I can see why you were taken with the Stryker, in my eyes they are a fantastic looking radio, very usable which makes them handy in a mobile installation and they have a great spec as well. I hope you get a lot of enjoyment from it.
Callsigns are usually issued most days so keep an eye on this posting for when you are allocated yours.
May I just say it's always a pleasure to welcome someone with a widespread radio interest.
All the best, Victor
