What’s going on with call sign allocation? I know people are busy and I’ve got jobs to do and so forth but come on.

If you’re particularly after a Charlie Tango call sign then patience will be a virtue, otherwise you could always do what I did and get an alternative one from a local DX group.
Cheers

Or you could make up your own ie: example 26 (which means you are UK) lets say your initials and any number , you don't need a to be on a forum to have a call sign, it doesn't stop you from DXing cos you dont have a CT call sign just crack on and enjoy your radio mate ,yeah OK it all right for me Ive had my CT call sign since 2009 but back then it was more of a organised forum but since they have had problems with changing a couple of times with different web suppliers who had messed up the site there has been major problems, I know its not an excuse but I think what has happen recently with the problems has F**ed it up on here big time ,if you look left at my avatar info you will see I have more than one call sign one of those I use still was issued to me by a club before internet forums where about when I got it, and the club is now no longer functioning but I still use it.

Hi. Martin/Nick/Steven.
Nice answer Martin. I've had my British Sideband Group call-sign UK164 since '78/9 & WW since '81/2. Still use them today. CT/FB only had last 3/4yrs. Nick I can't join SW group as I don't do IT only CT/FB. I hate IT as it has destroyed the hobby with Qrm etc. Five me Valves & separates & long wires any day. Just my opinion. Good luck Steven/Nick. Best bet is work local net's during the low. 73's Mike SW26. UK164/WW365/CT2201/FB855 + others.
