| hi my name is glenn
my handle was and is still the skip master(qrm permittiong)
my rig in the 80s was a high gain 5 hooked up to a sigma 4 and home made 3 element beam
never managed to get italy due to my location, blocking that direction but in return
north and south america seemed to be reflected in that direction. lucky for me no qrm from the big kilowatt users. less then 100feet to the east was a large viaduct over 80 foot high.
people talk location location but nowadays to get away from electrical noise
TVI was the problem back in the 80s with cb,ers causing the problem now the electrical products are fighting back and the tables are turned
