A new net for a Friday night.
This was on 03-09-2021
Having got an invitation from Nigel EK720, I headed to radio corner, Ashdown Forest, set up the Anytone 6666 and Sirio 4000
I did have a listen before calling in and was welcomed by the group.
But there were many more calling in and being passed round
More information can be found somewhere on Facebook.
Ciao Ciao & 73

Hi Nick
Nice radio and it shows the new frequency the net is on, 27.035 or channel 7 mid-block.
Don't worry about forgetting the mic, your not the only one that has headed out to a hill and left a bit of kit behind. So welcome to the club
Hope to catch you in the up coming weeks
Cheers & Beers Ray 26 CI 2290

Ha Ha Ha Ha
Talk about forgetting things!
Here is my review of the Hill Toppers 11m DX net which was on the 17th of September 2021 My location was Ashdown Forest, East Sussex, but not my usaul car park, this was already being used by another radio operator. The conditions were flat, which made the normal distance stations hard work.

Hill Toppers DX net report for the 15th October 2021
My location was Radio corner, Ashdown Forest, East Sussex My set up was a Anytone AT6666 and a Moonraker halfwave vertical antenna
The conditions were flat making any kind of long distance contacts almost impossible
