| Another stupid antenna question. Should i first adjust my antenna for the lowest SWR (suppose it's resonant then) and then mount a common mode choke? Just thinking about what happened when i switched from RG58 to RG213. Then the SWR went up, i think caused by the lower loss of the RG213, which also applies to the return RF???

| As far asĀ SWR goes, correct on "worse" readingĀ for the better coax. Exactly the reason you said. More RF reaching the aerial and less being lost on the return. Just remember, the true SWR of the aerial hasn't altered As for the choke, put it in at the start, common mode current may cause a false reading.
