First and most important is everybody ok nobody get hurt ?. Second. Anybody get any damage ? hope not. Just went out the back and i still have my 4 aerials intact the co-liner looks to be tilting to the left but i think it is the bracket (10" pole 1 bracket).

Glad to hear you're well Alan knowing you'd have been hit worse than us in the East. We're all fine here, (no antennas to blow down at the moment!!), but was concerned for your antennas and spangly new shack you've worked so hard on.
I hope everyone else faired well.....and at least antennas can be replaced.

Very pleased to hear you are both ok. Really hope everyone else is too.
No antenna damage here. Fairly safe as in loft. Was close not to being. Neighbours had some top level roof tiles blown off, but miraculously all of ours stayed firm. Garden has not faired so well, but nothing that can't be repaired. Worked with neighbours this morning to put in some temporary props to keep what's left of the fences in place to stop theirs and our dogs escaping.
Some gusts clearly were extremely strong.. Fence posts snapped clean in two. Struggled to upright a stone birdbath too which the wind had toppled and moved across the garden a little way, felt like it weighed a tonne.

Good to hear you're all OK there as well Neal. You must've had some gusts to topple that birdbath!
Glad we had the roof done when we did but madly the scaffolders fought in the wind to take the scaffolding down yesterday?!?! At least my Faraday cage is now gone.
Thinking on I might plan reinstating a loft antenna now.....still with ladder line though.

Came home from work last to find my antenna. . . . . .

All ok here, fence panels, roof etc all good
Beam and Vector all ok...78mph was the max gust measured here in Kent so we didn't get the worse of it....

Antennas all ok. I wound the Tennamast down two nights a go after seeing the forecast. It stands force ten ok but when I saw storm 11 thought best to bring it down. Hustler is guyed with paracord so no problem and the Cobweb is on a heavy duty Spiderbeam ali 10metre push up mast with three paracord guys. It did slacken one but the mast is so good nothing happened.
Winds only topped 80kmh here which surprised me as I thought it was faster. My ants have survived 80mph before now so had a bit to go.
I was at work all day and there were a few trees down on the A24 but quickly cleared up. Watched BIGJET TV at work during the morning, boy those pilots earn their bread.

Took my twing down, just to be on the safe side as its only mounted on one bracket. Put it back up this morning [Saturday] before the rain arrived. The local Council Garage block suffered a 3rd story wall collapse though! Took some pics and sent to the local Newspapers. https://www.cambridgeindependent.co.uk/news/storm-eunice-wall-collapses-in-cambridge-9241053/
NO casualties fortunatly. Cambridge seemed to be fairly unscathed.

What we found during the 1987 storm walls were sucked out not blown down. Several houses here in 87 had the gable ends sucked out.
A vortex from the house opposite us took our ridge and three courses of tiles off.

I remember that Mike. Was the same around where we lived. The gable end of my father's house and a few others were rebuilt stronger afterwards.
Storm is definitely up again here. Temporary supports put on the fence yesterday are down and the whole fence is flapping around like a massive boat sale. Garden is a right mess. No point trying to do anything out there now until it's all over. Guess I know what I'll be doing next weekend.

Yesterday around 1600utc it got a bit hairy as a cold front went through. I was in the shack and the wind was really giving it a good hammering. It's nice and solid so no worries, cobweb was bouncing around nicely but was ok.
