Hello folks,
My name's Rik and I'd like to request a callsign.
Like pretty much everyone else here I started on CB back in the early 80's with a Rotel RVC 220 next to my bed, chatting to my mate up the road! I've worked in broadcast radio for over 30 years and been a scanner user since the early '90's. Bored during lockdown, I started watching YouTube videos and stubbled across Lewis on Ringway Manchester, Andy Kirby and Fred In The Shed. I'm dipping my toe back in and about to take my Ham Foundation exam next week.

Hi Rik,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Great introduction and always good to hear a little about someone and their radio interests.
To obtain a call sign you will need to complete the requirements for such as per the instructions on this posting section regards your QTH or location, the town/city you live in or near being enough.
When that is completed on your profile admin responsible for call sign allocation will be along in a day or two to issue you.
May I also wish you the very best with your upcoming Foundation exam.
