Good morning from Hobart, Australia. My handle is Darren, I'm an electronics, enthusiast tragic and I've been into radio communications for many years. I have many radios, some projects waiting to be repaired to fire up again. I mostly use a Cobra 2000 and a Madison, getting out to the world on a 5/8 vertical station master and a horizontal, end fed wire. Thanks for letting me join the group, I'm hoping to talk to a few other members over the air, at some point, when the conditions improve somewhat and to be able to learn some new techniques, tips and tricks and also, hopefully share some knowledge in the forum's. Welcome to Charlie Tango.
If you can fill in your profile as per the instructions on this section it'll help speed along your call sign request by assisting admin responsible for allocating them. Once that's done call signs are usually issued most days so keep an eye on this posting for when you are allocated.
Always great to hear from enthusiastic radio operators and I hope you enjoy the forum as much as the call sign.
