Good afternoon everyone I'm Andy i have just returned to Cb after many years away. i was active in the late 70's and early 80's i drifted away once the muppets started to take over Ive always had an interest in all forms of radio and hope to do my foundation licence in the next couple of months. I picked up a crt9900 for mobile use and and will it set up later today once ive finished work. can admin allocate me a callsign please

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Always good to welcome someone back to the airwaves after a long absence and I hope you enjoy your return to it. May I also wish you the very best of luck with your Foundation studies and if you have any questions feel free to ask on the forum. (Proudly many have passed their Ham exam during being involved with Charlie Tango, myself included and there are a lot of really helpful people here.)
Our Admin responsible for call signs, Gary, should be along any day now to allocate you one so keep an eye on this posting for when he issues you.
