Hi Gary,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
I'm not sure where you've made a call sign request before, (had a quick scour of the forum), but the important thing is you're here now. I've taken the privilege as an admin to sort out your forum profile to prevent any delays or problems with call sign issue as well. (Again, don't worry it was just your QTH/Country swapped around.) It's all a pain when you're doing this stuff from new.
You're all good to go for call sign allocation now so just keep an eye on this posting for when you are issued one.
Radio is certainly a rewarding hobby whether it is CB, Ham, PMR, SWL or anything in between and I wish you the very best with it and you get to enjoy your 6900.
All the best, Victor

"C.B. lingo" is no longer a thing really, everyday language is very much the order of the day so don't delay get on the wireless and start making some contacts.
I am delighted to allocate you 26-CT-4491 may you have good luck with it.
73's Gary.
