Hi all,
I see and hear lots of references to location identifiers, but I've no idea about them.....if anyone were to ask me mine, I'd not have a clue. Ideas welcome as ever please!
Cheers,
Simon.

Keep zooming in on this map and find your street/house and your locator is in the corner. https://www.egloff.eu/googlemap_v3/carto.php

If you have put your address correctly into your QRZ.com profile the locator will also be shown in the 'detail' tab of your page.
Another common locator asked for, especially when working inter-G, is the Worked All Britain (WAB) square. That is a 4 character code that is worked out by using the two letters and the first and fourth numbers of the Ordnance Survey grid code. E.g. my OS grid location is SP016006 so my WAB is SP00.

QRZ.com got my locator very wrong so if you do use it double check it.

Hi Gents,
I tried the QRZ site, and it seems that it defaults to central London, which I presume is because I have an incomplete postcode in my address details, or that I use my mobile as a hotspot to get online, so there's no IP address details?
Cheers
Simon.

Hi Alan,
This one works a treat, so I've now used it to manually update QRZ.
Cheers
Simon.

Glad it worked for you Simon. I couldn't find the one i used before you didn't have to zoom like that one but still it works. As long as you know where to look on the map unlike some (she is sat next to me) lol.
