Subject: The Yorkshire Bash 2022 Tue Jun 07, 2022 7:01 am
Hi, At last We can invite you all to the Yorkshire Bash.
The event is open to everyone who would like to attend.
Wild camping BBQ, beer, radio, Hog roast, an annual meet up to meet old and new friends.
This year the event will be held near Driffield, 14th July - 17th July.
The cost is £10 a night or £25 if you would like to stay the 3 nights.
Andy will be setting up his monster antenna that will be visible for miles around and anyone who would like to have a go is welcome to use.
A BBQ, Hog roast, breakfast is included.
As we will be wild camping in a large field, please ensure you are equipped for the weekend. A portable loo will be on site, but you will need to bring water. Oh and beer!
Please book your place with me or Sydthecat (CT Admin) and we will ad you to the list of attendees, this will also let us know the numbers we need to cater for.

Oh in the image there is a hidden bottle of Jack Daniels, the first to find it, I'll give you a bottle to enjoy at the Bash!

There has been some interest on Facebook, I've stayed at the new location and enjoyed it very much.
I'm hoping for some clear sky's we experienced the last time I was there,as I'll be taking the telescope.

Hi Ray Shame your not able to get up north with us, we need a few more southerners lol.
We normally are on T5 and qsy to a freq we will spotting on Cluster.nl and on the CT forum also
There will be guys on the ham bands also. me personally i will be trying a bit of 446 (pmr) with a little external antenna
looking forward to catching up with guy's again.

Hi Steve
I will be keeping an eye on Cluster.nl and the CT forum to see were you guys are, then I will be calling in with the hundreds of other CT members.
PMR could be interesting going across the North Sea towards the Netherlands, but I don't think I will be able to make a contact across the 197 miles from East Sussex

Gutted. Set off this morning on my PX150 and just blown it up on the way . Now waiting for the man in the yellow van to come get me and take me home.

That's a shame mate. You don't use that carp E10 petrol do you ? I sold my Vespa a few years ago. Had a 180 kit on Kept my Lambrettas though.
Mind my GP 200 with Honda 205 kit succumbed to poor petrol years ago and blew a hole in the top of the piston Hopefully yours is more simple and less expensive to repair.
The float on my SX blew up like a puffer fish too causing the fuel to pour out of the carb.
