Hi to All,
Mally from Liverpool returning to radio after quite a few years .I was one of the originals from am days in the 70s , working my first cb a straight 40 krako which I paid £63 for a lot of money then , anybody remember them ? Had loads of different rigs right through the 70s till FM81 . But all ways loved DX
That Christmas spent a lot of time in lofts installing dv27s on biccie tins and on roofs installing silver rods di-poles etc, those really where the great days . Joined TEAMS as Delta 55 with my buddy Dave , Delta 57 . Eddie , Stirrer Mike , Dogman , Gary , Spannerman , great memories of Eyeballs and convoys and amazing friends . I’m retired now so plenty of time to play radio again ,
it would be cool to have a 26 - CT call sign .

Hi Mally Your radio history sounds like many of us on here. I started off with 24 channels i think on AM but packed up in the 90's until about 2.5 years ago. My return was not as i thought i was met with silence and was a bit disheartened at first but stuck with it. I then found this very forum and i was not alone with my return. I decided like many on here to go for my ham licence and with plenty of encouragement well from one guy in particular i passed and the world is now my lobster lol. Welcome to the forum Mally.
