Hello  I'm Tony had rig in the 80's a York863 modded to include usb and lsb. Used to live on second highest point in Sussex then. Now in Lowestoft, recently given new President Mckinley, when I sus out how to turn on! Crying or Very sad  ( rigs so different now!) Got to get aerial etc. But hope be on soon! Can I request a call sign. Thank you

Hi Tony,

Welcome to Charlie Tango.


I've edited your profile to change the country to 'England' rather than Britain as call signs are issued by country with England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland recognised as separate countries regards CB call sign codes. Just trying my best to help and make sure there are no problems with you gaining your call sign. HELLO AND CALL SIGN REQUEST (Issued) 1f44d 

Just keep an eye on this posting for when our admin Gary comes along to allocate you.


Yep, radios are a bit different than the old days (although some not by much) but you soon get used to them especially if you play around with operating it for a while.

I hope your return to the airwaves are a good one.

Thank you Victor, yes they are different! As I'm returning can I ask is a President Mckinley Export version/edition any good? I have asked /explained in the cb forum,. Programmed fully i believe?  Whatever that means!!
