Hi new to this forum anybody recommend a good homebase antenna to go static mobile on 27mhz taking into consideration the ease of transporting and erecting the antenna .The antenna will be used for dx ing on sidebands many thanks stephen

Hi and welcome to CT. Look up T2LT aerial you can buy but easy to make yourself. Along with a telescopic pole and a couple of bungees to fix the pole to a fence post and bob's your granny.

I second the T2LT. They can be setup in just a few minutes when you get the hang of it. Don't need to be too high either, I put mine on a cheap 8m telescopic pole so base about 2.5m off ground. Usable bandwidth of just over 1MHz, I have mine set for freeband CB up to 28.5MHz. Setup in back garden for a short time on Sunday and got a 59+ into Russia on 10m with it. Out in the open static mobile it will do amazing for you.

Ok thanks for the advice will have a look at the T2LT they seem quite reasonably priced too.
