Hi all, new member here. I have recently bought a Kenwood R-2000 receiver and have been bitten by the bug. I will likely have some questions!

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
The old Kenwood R2000 was and still is a good short wave listening set. I'm sure like many before you some radio communications listening fun will have you lusting for far more.
There's a helpful bunch of members here only too willing to offer help to fellow radio enthusiasts so feel free to fire away with any questions you may have.
Do remember however that not everyone is here all the time so you may not get answers straight away, that also includes the "chatbox" facility which isn't manned 24/7.
Enjoy the forum and more importantly enjoy your radio.
