Revival of a classic, found this old Audioline in my mums loft. It was battered with green chrome work. Fully re-alligned and did my best to restore. What do you think?

Hi Steve,
Great job in reviving a radio back into service and got to say I quite like it.
I can only imagine how green all that chrome had gone after languishing in a loft for so many years!
Many will have a different opinion on 'restoration' of such old radios, (the Audioline was instantly recognisable due to all that chrome), but the important aspect is that you've got it all back to working order. A 'full' restoration would probably have it adorning a collectors shelf or else on the 'bay' for an overinflated or 'collectible' price.......whereas you have pressed it back into operation which for me anyway is far more important.
(I've seen terrible examples where they've tried respraying some 'silverish' paint over it and more often than not misaligned to heck!)
Well done and thanks for posting. I hope you have as much fun operating the old girl as you obviously had bringing it back to life.
All the best, Victor
