im at the moment listening to a couple of breakers from the usa on usb channel 19 and i havent been able to do that for a long time do you think it is because im now using a bigger power supply or do you think the skip is running

You can study the propagation predictions or simply turn the radio on and see what's out there.

Have not heard anyone the other side of the Atlantic, mostly Italy and some other Europeans.

My guess using bigger power supply does not effecting just reception ... Note (to keep an eye) the last 2 weeks every evening from about 13:00 & later UK time, i can hear at EU40 band AM mode some blocks at 6, 11, 28 Virginia, Florida, Carolina almost every evening...apart them, some days appearing weaker at ch10, 12, 15, 16, 24, 29, 31 all AM mode I guess is the area because one example, while i can heard ch6 saying are many stations from EU calling, to my location (Corfu) only can hear USA, & very few from England, Wales, Ireland calling USA and thats it

Solar Flux Index is well over 200. Anything above mid 150s gives good DX for 11m.
