Can anyone tell me what amp power supply the mckinley would need. I have a 3amp whith 5amp surg ,but am not sure if this will be enough

i have just acquired the 5 amp power supply which works well but before that i was using a 2 amp which i didn't have any problems with but just to be sure i bought the 5 amp with a 7.5 amp surge

Is yours standard or expanded. I thought the same as you the 5amp would be OK. But if expanded the extra power maybe to much. Think I'll get a 10 to 15 amp one be on the safe side. Thanks for the reply.

Get the biggest amp you can afford up to 30a. You might upgrade radios and need a bit extra at some point. A 5amp is ideal for a night light lol.

My station commander gave up long ago she now just passes me the parcels that get delivered lol. Also she gets anything she asks me for happy wife happy life. That reminds me i haven't bought any radio stuff lately might just have a look on the net now thanks for the reminder guy's.
