Subject: Antron A99 SWR Wed Mar 22, 2023 4:45 pm
so im getting my antron 99 installed on a pole to my gable end, whats the best way to check the swr before it goes up?? can you just stand the antena up or lay it on the ground? its my first antena and just want it setup right

The only way to properly tune the antenna is to do it in situ. The A99 has tuning rings at the bottom so you should be able to do it fairly easily after the installation.

Bolt it to the pole, stand it up in a garden parasol stand if you have one and tune it. That way you may be lucky and have it near as damnit when it goes up .
