Hi all. I'm Gaz, I've recently dusted off my beloved radio collection and made a reasonable antenna to get back on the air after a fair few years off air. My first ever transceiver was a Cybernet Beta 3000 way back when I was just 14 years old, I'm now almost 42 and still have a flare for radio. I've always been more into the electronics side of the hobby. I especially love to make, modify and test aerials. I have quite a selection of radios which can be used on 11m CB including some classics like the HAM Jumbo and President Madison mk1 to name just a couple. I am also an M6 amateur operator where I mainly use 10m, 2m and 70cms. 10m is my favourite amateur band and the foundation licence gives me that and the others and thus never taking my licence any further. I cut my teeth on 11m CB and it is where I transmit most on local nets and just lately making the most of the sporadic E conditions. I've always wanted a CT call sign as I've always just used one I made up when I was 14. Handle is Stargazer and DX call sign 26SG81. Now I've picked up the mic again, could the admin folks please allocate me a CT call sign for 11m CB use? Thanks in advance.
I'd like to thank anyone who took the time to read this, I didn't go too deep into set-up or current situations or there'll be nothing to rag chew over on air! Any questions, please feel free to ask.
