Ah gutted, I thought Craig had said about trying again in a couple of weeks. (Which would've been next Thursday.)
Anyone get in contact? Maybe others like me thought it was next week as well so no one was about at all.
Considering we're all "licenced" for radio communications it appears that we're not all that great at other forms of communicating.

I was thinking the same in 2 weeks. Was still in the shack playing with the new toy and at 7.20pm i came across Craig. Managed to get in to Craig and also a contact with M0OGY but had a lot of noise on the band so sat on the side.

Band conditions were pretty poor, I had little to no FT8 activity and like you Alan a lot of noise.

Ah good, at least it wasn't just me then.
Well done with contacting Craig and Dave there Alan mate. There's hope that we'll get that voice contact soon, fingers crossed. Would love to get you too Mark and a 'regular' net might give us such an opportunity.

Tried raising Graeme 2M0YPE as I had him 5/9+ at times but he hadn't heard me.
Called a couple of other CQ stations but looking like I ain't getting through to anyone tonight Al mate.
I'm off for me rather late dinner now. Hopefully catch you another time.
