Hi my name is Matt I’m returning to CB from a break since the 80s I’ve got a thunderpole rig with simple mag mount antenna and all I need is a callsign now

hI my name is Tom Harvey I’m new to CB I’ve decided o take up the hobby with my Dad so we can talk to each other, I’m 37 yrs old I live in Stoke On Trent UK I’m using a midland Alan 42 ds handheld and I’m hoping to get a base station soon but I’m spoiled for choice and don’t know what to look out for, I just need a callsign to use on the air I would be very grateful if I could get one,

This forum account already has a call sign allocated to it.

Would your Father be the said registered holder of this account?

If you could clarify this further then I will do my best to assist you. 

Usually each member registers an account, ensures their profile details are completed and we allocate a call sign accordingly upon request. We can make certain exceptions if you are not intending to use the forum and we have done this in the past for Father and Son accounts but usually for much younger members.

Let us know how you wish to proceed or else you can set up your own account and request a call sign accordingly.


Please remember that the admin team are volunteers here and responses may take a little while but we usually do our very best to respond within a 24 to 48 hour period.

Yes my dad got his call sign yesterday we share email address as I have mild learning difficulties
