Hey hi everyone im Sam
Im very keen to get some radio equipment I have minimal experience (parents were on uk40ch) ive been looking at crt rigs and im not sure if to get something that is future proof (crtss6900) or just get a crt one i do intend to obtain a license. Im based in crawley, Sussex and will attend crawley amateur radio club.
Any advise on first rig, aerial etc greatly appreciated

Hello Sam, welcome to the forum.
I am delighted to allocate you 26-CT-4958 may you have good luck with it.
Your request for advise on which radio to purchase would be best posted in the appropriate section of the forum.
You may wish to wait until you've started to attend your local club before making a purchase. Once you have passed your Amateur Radio exams the kind of kit required covers many more bands than the C.B. frequencies.
