Call sign change

Hi folks

Thank you for letting me join this forum I'm back on cb after a 30 year absence and have bought myself a thunderpole tx handheld although I'm not having much luck with the stock antenna it's very quiet where I live in workington west Cumbria but I have ordered a T2LT antenna with a mast which I'm hoping to get some better results on, anyhoo the last time I used a cb I went by the handle wonderboy haha but I'm thinking this time round a call sign might be more appropriate but more than anything I'm just looking forward to manking those contacts

I was just wondering if there is a call sign that you prefare that's not already allocated to someone can you pick that for yourself or are you only allowed to keep what you were given?

Hello Drew,

We usually try and accommodate call sign requests before allocation but not afterwards. 

Have you used the call sign issued for any DX contacts that may have been logged? 

Which particular call sign would you like to change to if possible?

I've not made any contacts yet was gonna ask for 26ct-5150 if nobody has it?
