Hello all just thought I pop on here to see what's fred in the shed is shouting about . Another steve here from cleethorpes. Started on cb on old am back in early 80s had a midland 150m great little rig .went by the handle red rum . It was quite busy then sitting in my room trying to get a northbank breaker but just getting blown away by dick Turpin with his silver rod and me with my dv27 on a biscuit Tin .it was great fun and then it all went legal and the fun stopped or I just grew out of it . Kids came along so did work and buying a house all that grown up stuff but now I find myself a few grey hairs later retired and time on my hands . Do I take up gardening bowls or sit playing domino's with a pint of mild .oh no I am 17 again and back ot the air .just got to get back into the swing of things and ready steady off I go with a pound in me pocket I'm off like a rocket to the moon and I'll be back soon .so 10.10 for now and it's down and not quite gone from red rum .just need one of the fandangle ct callsigns now anyone point me in the rite direction . Cheers steve

Hello Steve, welcome to the forum.
Great intro buddy!!
The radio spectrum is regulated by Ofcom these days and enforcement of the use of the free bands is practically unheard of. (But not impossible) AM and SSB are now legal modes so nothing to worry about in reality.
I am delighted to allocate you 26-CT-4976 may you have good luck with it.
73's Gary.
