hi guys.. got a bit of freetime now the kids are older and thought id see what the radio scene is like these days. i did a bit of cb in the 80s in my teens, but nothing since till about 18month ago i stumbled on (ringwaymanchester)y**tube (m3hhy) and got the bug again, picked up a retevis rt98, programmed it to pmr, mounted in my truck and have been listening since the new year. hope to get a bit of experience then go for my licence. maybe catch a few around my area on the waves. many thanks.

Yeh i know it's not it's not totally legit on PMR with a 5w unit But who sticks to the speed limit all the time. I'm trying to be sensible by staying off the ham bands and not clogging the radio with crap.
