A James Bond related almost hattrick for you..
Roger Moore reprising his 007 character in The Cannonball Run, a movie which of course stared the Bandit himself Burt Reynolds..
James Bond movie send up Austin Powers Goldmember..
And not quite CB, but fairly relevant (more so to us SWLers) is the same radio I have on my bedside cabinet, a Realistic DX-300 being used in a way I have never got mine to work before in the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again..

Spotted this one whilst watching Young Sheldon. A very good base station for the time, and only being used for the school PA system.

Am still going through Young Sheldon when feeling the need to veg out.. Spotted the school Madison being used again season 2 episode 2.
For the SWLers among us, the episode also has a short wave receiver featuring for the listening of the Noble Prize announcements, and a magnetic loop antenna.

Riverdale. Only featured in one episode, so far. Season 3 Episode 9 Chapter Forty-Four: "No Exit"
First episode after a mid season break and we find one of the lead characters Archie living in a cabin out in the wilderness, doing some sort of job that involves clearing trails. He uses a rig twice at about 6 minutes and a second time to call for help after being mauled by a bear at 9 minutes 40 secs.
I can't work out what sort of rig or even desk mic he was using as it's so gloomy in there. Knowing the laughable writing, facts and continuity of the program (e.g. mobile phones have been used in it so far in an abandoned mine and underground bunker lol) the producers may even have used something that wasn't a CB. Thought it might of been ham for a moment as they used sort of callsigns "This is KDK12 to KDK1 over" so did a net search which brought up two interesting facts that some of you might know already..
1. The call signs are in the style of CB call signs issued a long time ago when they used to do that in the US. 2. Same call signs used in the movie The Shining between the hotel and forest ranger. A nice steal cameo for the program that I should of picked up on with my love of horror books and movies, but completely forgot about.
Now time to put a pause on watching trash and doing net searches on the trash and go do something more productive

OK, not strictly 'CB radio' in TV & Film but something that inspired my own early radio interests.
Richard Burton in the classic 1968 movie "Where Eagles Dare".
Here we see Richard Burton at one of his many finest moments on film :-
When I first got my licence and my old Ham radio friend found a HF frequency we would both be able to hear each other on he opened with the usual Ham call sign transmission start.......
Couldn't help myself and my response was to call out "Broadsword calling Danny Boy.....Broadsword calling Danny Boy!"
We had a right laugh about it and if anything I finally fulfilled a lifelong dream.
Still loving it and surprisingly still coming across the odd radio 'Nazi'!

Haha thanks Razz. I won't watch as I'm not quite that far into the show.
The 2nd video looks like a game version.
There are walkie talkies used at times in the show. I did think they missed a trick not including CB or ham radio being post apocalyptic America and all . So I'd googled it a while back and saw Eugene was mentioned using a ham.

And I forgot Eugene on the radio from the graphic novels

Riverdale, again. Season 3 Episode 17 Chapter Fifty-Two: "The Raid"
A Cobra 29 Nightwatch with small switch mode PSU, along with a number of old base radios I don't recognise at around the 17 mins point.
Jughead is using various radios to communicate with his the South Side Serpent gang who are rounding up drug dealers. He's doing bloomin' well to communicate with them as half his radios don't have anything plugged into to the antenna socket including the Cobra lol.. I did mention about the facts and continuity in my last post

Riverdale, again again, and last one just for giggles on facts as not strictly CB but close enough. End of Season 4 Episode 4 Chapter Sixty-One: "Halloween", an FBI agent is using an Icom transceiver to listen in on a mobile phone conversation.
Checking out the range of Icom radios it looks they had a range that used the same chassis for different bands, like the IC-7300 and IC-9700 of today. I can't tell exactly what model this one is, but as he is listening to mobile phones lets say it's the IC-1275 which is a bit more probable than the IC-(2/4/5)75 models. Nice touch with the tape deck which kind of matches the year of the rig. Just found it impressive that he could pick up so well the digital signals of the modern smart phones he was listening into

Riverdale, promise it's the last one honest, as only have a couple of episodes to go now before I get to the end of the current season. There have been a number of radio occurrences between my last post and this one, if anyone is tempted to binge watch the lot. The radios popping up here and there aside, the programme is like Hollyoaks on steroids... I wouldn't recommend it to most of you. It has just been my brain switch off viewing to got to for a while. This last posting is just because it is fitting in the current climate of possible power shortages in a part of Europe today, and (hopefully not) in the UK this winter.
Season 6 Episode 12 Chapter One-hundred and Seven: "In the fog". The power goes out in Riverdale. In Pops (a diner), there is mention that there is an old ham radio in the back they could use. The diner owner uses it to call out for help. This is what she used..
To me it looks like an old am broadcast receiving radio, an unknown CB radio, a desk mike and a couple of 2m band possibly mag mount antennas. I am not going to mention facts and continuity again Nice touch that it is all apparently connected to a car battery on the side *tick*. Does anyone know what the CB type radio is, or is it a 2m radio? I am looking around for a possible 2m SSB radio for the near future, so please do let know if you know what this one is.
Now what to watch next featuring CBs...

Not sure about the other but does have that old 23 channel CB vibe about it.
