Hi, if you feel an earth is needed, just attached green/yellow cable that is used for electrical mains earthing, and connect that to an earthing rod.

Do not earth to the power earth in your house but take a length greater than the drop from your mast end if mounted on your roof line or chimney easy if mast bottom is at ground level. Chose a place where you can safely sink a earth point into the ground. Remember that it would be dangerous to trail the earth lead over a path to the earthing point where people might walk. You might need to drill through concrete to place your earth point say next to an outside wall of the house. Be aware what you might be sinking your earth rod into as you drive it down. Pipes, drains and foundations are a risk be aware. When ready place your ground rod into position and with a lump hammer firmly tap the rod it should go into the earth without resistance the whole length except 2 inches to strap the earth wire securely to it. If you experience resistance in the first 6 inches you may want to rethink the earthing point position. Remember safety first

In the event or the expectation of lightning EVEN with your antenna earthed, I would recommend you un-couple you radio/s and place the feed lines outside in order to maximise protection and prevent damage to rigs. Antennae by general comparison are much easier and cheaper to replace
